Philosophy of Care

Kipnis Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was opened almost 2 decades ago to meet the needs of the whole patient. While working for various large hospital/medical centers and private practices in Northern NJ, I found that patients were not consistently cared for in the same way I would want my family to be treated. Thus, I started the Kipnis Physical Therapy facilities to provide a more complete rehabilitation experience.
This philosophy of care was designed to extend in four distinct directions.
- The first is to provide each patient with warm, caring and engaged clinical and administrative staff, from the very first encounter with our office.
- The second is to present a resource to all persons in the community, who are seeking guidance on which healthcare specialist is appropriate for their condition, accepts their insurance, and seems to be a good fit for the patient.
- The third direction is to provide our patients and communities with on-going education and assistance, in the format of complimentary community lectures, free health screenings, free physical therapy consults, and always the opportunity to speak directly to a physical therapist, regardless of whether that individual is a patient of ours or not.
- The last direction we strive to achieve is to create an environment of continuous learning and professional growth for all our staff, so that our patients can always be assured they are being treated by clinicians whom possess the most advanced skills, knowledge and know how.
Our ultimate goal is to create a healthcare facility that offers a multi-disciplinary approach to care, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, gym and wellness programs, weight loss systems, and additional services including speech pathology and audiology all within the same building. In addition, we strive to create the comforting and supportive environment that is respectful of all our patients, and their unique medical, health and wellness needs.
